COVID-19: Please read

In these times of new normal we would like to assure you that here at Tegfan Garden Suite the wellbeing of our guests is of the upmost importance, no-more since Coronavirus pandemic (COVID- 19). On top of our existing high standards of cleanliness, we are following Government, Public Health and industry COVID-19 guidelines to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable stay. Being completely private and self-contained it is easy for you and your family to adhere to any social distancing advice while staying at Tegfan Garden Suite.

We have completed our Covid-19 Risk Assessment, and industry training prior to opening and are certified by VisitBritain and World Travel & Tourism Council as Good to Go.  We are pleased to display our “We’re Good to Go” and “Safe Travels” certifications. We will be closely monitoring the official advice given by both the World Health Organisation, UK Government as well as various industry bodies such as the B&B Association and UK Hospitality and will adjust to or make any additional recommendations accordingly.

We do, however, have a few extra notes that we ask our guests to read - and stick to - during their stay, just to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and relaxed during this current state of alert. Our aim will be to mitigate risk, in our control, as far as possible and this will include but not be limited to the following:

Check In: Tegfan Garden Suite accommodation is self-contained in its own private building.  Therefore, we do not have a reception area so a Pre-Registration form and all Check in details will be sent to you prior to arrival. All we will need is your ETA and the key will be in the door. Your key will have been disinfected and sterilised prior to your arrival.

A suite room guide will be provided by email and sent to you prior to your arrival.

We will provide Tourist information guides, suggested walks and maps etc. but please let us know if you would like information for a specific experience and we will produce individual print outs for you where possible.

Alcohol based hand sanitisers will also be available - Please use this whenever entering or leaving TGS. Please do not take the sanitiser bottle/s with you.

We will no longer be ‘servicing’ the room during your stay.

Departure: Please provide your BACS details for us to refund the extra cleaning/damage deposit dependent on inspection. We will not be accepting bookings without a deposit or pre-payment. Please leave your room key in the door upon departure.

Housekeeping, damages & lost property policy.

We reserve the right to charge the lead guest for any damages caused through the course of a booking by any member of the booking party. This includes breakages, spillages, stains, damage to furniture, bedding or fixtures and fittings or any unnecessary cleaning will be charged to you. You and the members of your party agree to leave the property in a similar condition as you found it when you arrived ie all utensils, crockery & kitchen equipment to be left washed and the property left clean and tidy.

  • We will no longer be ‘servicing’ the room during your stay but any accidental damages should be reported as soon as possible in order to minimise damage and associated costs.

  • Lost keys will incur a replacement charge per key fob lost.

Any lost property, if discovered and found, left behind by guests during a stay will be held for a period of 1 month. While we will make our best efforts to reunite lost property with the original owner, we accept no responsibility in replacing lost items and encourage guests to ensure they have all their belonging before checking-out. We will offer to post lost items via recorded delivery at the cost of the property owner, otherwise collection can be arranged.

Cancellation policy

Our cancellation policy is a full refund upto 14 days and then fully chargeable thereafter.

  • The guest can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival.

  • The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival.
