Learn cooking tips together, as a family or on a one-to-one basis.

Cook & Bake your own picnic lunch or supper. Dine on your handmade treats or take them away to enjoy at home. We will show you how to create a simple mixture of sweet & savoury dishes for a Welsh-themed dining experience.

We can show you how to explore flavour combinations that inspire whilst still using the freshest ingredients from our kitchen garden or from local farmers and artisans. We pride ourselves on using the best local seasonal ingredients.

The classes will be small and bespoke making it easy to work with any specific dietary or allergen requirements.

Dishes made on the day will be chosen from:

  • Twice Baked Cheese Souffle

  • Seasonal Hot or Cold Salad

  • Laverbread Biscotti

  • Soup & Malted Granary Rolls

  • Smoked Trout Salad

  • Laverbread Burgers

  • Vegetable Kebabs with Black Mountains Preserves Sweet Chilli Jam

  • Beetroot or Red Pepper Houmous

  • Chicken Liver Pate

  • Hot Camembert Melts

  • Fillet a fish

  • Sea Bream with Beurre Blanc Sauce

  • Seasonal Chutney, Pickles or Jam

  • Picnic Ready Loaf or Tear’N’Share Bread

  • Perl Wen & Red Onion Fougasse

  • Buttermilk Scones served with Black Mountains Preserves and Welsh Clotted Cream

  • Bara Brith sometimes known as "speckled bread"

  • Welsh Cakes

  • Fruit & Jam topped Baked Cheesecakes

  • Lemon & Blueberry Sweet Rolls
